Donald A. Thull - Age 86 of St. Anthony, MN. passed away on July 30th, 2023.Preceded in death by wife Doreen (Eveslage) Thull, son Vincent Thull, daughter Jennifer (Keith) Hargadine, 2nd wife Jan Sivanich, stepson Sam Sivanich. Survived by children, Marybeth (Andy) Callahan, Pam (Dave) Schultz, Tim (Jenny), Matt (Karen), Patrick (Vanessa), Brenda (Craig) Drehmel, Cindy (Brian) Jolin, Kimberly (Jeff) Sinkler. Grandchildren: Justin, Vanessa, Jessica, Melissa, Shelby, Jolene, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Lauren, Hannah, Vincent, Adrian, Stella, Heydyn, Claire, Elijah, Paige, Alix and Sam. Great Grandchildren Michael, Grace, Logan and Collin.

Don was born on January 30th, 1937 to Anna and Al Thull in New Munich, MN on the family farm. Don helped support the family farm while attending Melrose schools and joined the Army in 1955 where he was stationed just outside of Paris, France. He met Doreen Eveslage and they married on September 5th, 1959. The couple settled in Rosemount in 1960 where Don worked for the US Postal Service and soon after started a family. They were blessed with ten children and spent most of their time supporting them through school, various sports, musical and church activities. Doreen passed away in 2000 and Don married Jan Sivanich and relocated to St. Anthony.

Don loved music and playing the concertina, which he learned from his father playing in the Al Thull Polka Band. He enjoyed attending various sporting events, plays, choir concerts of his kids and grandkids. Most of all Don was an avid fisherman and had many wonderful fishing partners over the years that he loved to take out to enjoy time together on the water. Don was proud of his family, especially his grandchildren who always brightened his day at family activities.

Visitation services will be held at the White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave. Apple Valley, MN on Sunday August 13th from 4-7. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Ave. W. Rosemount, MN at 11 am Monday August 14th with visitation one hour prior. Graveside services will be held immediately after at St Joseph’s cemetery with luncheon to follow.
