Terry L. Fisher
Terry L. Fisher, 72, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023 at his home.
He was born May 6, 1951 in Clearwater, Mich., the son of the late Jesse Fisher and Freda Mae (Goodwin) Fisher Seaman.
Terry was a proud Vietnam veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Hillsboro VFW 9094 and the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful flowers, was skilled at making wire-wrapped copper jewelry and loved fishing and camping. Terry was a respected local mechanic for many years and attained his license as a real estate agent in 2003.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy (Caudill) Fisher, whom he married April 26, 1974 in Hillsboro; three children, Barbara Sluss of Leesburg, John Henley of Manchester and Nathan Fisher of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, Krystal, Ashley, Kyle, Brook, Riley, Jordan and Kaleb; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel (Prudence) Fisher of Hillsboro; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Lori Henley; and numerous siblings.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Pastor Clay Self will officiate. Burial with military honors presented by the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

MARILYN AND I HAVE WORKED MANY YEARS WITH TERRY AND HE WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH AND ALSO A GREAT AUTO MECHANIC. I WENT WITH TERRY ON A FISHING TRIP TO CANADA AND HE WAS ALWAYS FUN TO BE WITH. WE ARE SO SORRY JUDY. HANK AND MARILYN
